Colts sign running back Jalin Marshall to three-year contract

Colts linebacker Jalin Marsh is returning to Indianapolis.

Marsh, who has missed the past two seasons with a broken foot, is entering the final year of a three-team contract.

Marsh signed with the Colts in January, but missed the first four games of the season with a foot injury.

Marsh played in all 16 games for the Colts last season, starting 12.

Marsh is one of five players on the Colts’ roster who are unrestricted free agents, with running back Chris Ivory, wide receiver Andre Johnson and defensive tackle T.J. McDonald being the other four.

The Colts are also in the market for a veteran inside linebacker, as they have two veteran inside linebackers on their roster, linebacker Paul Posluszny and linebacker Mike Adams.

Marsh’s contract includes a $5.4 million signing bonus and a $2.2 million salary cap charge.
