What’s next for the L.A. Kings in the coming weeks?

Posted February 01, 2019 07:04:25 The Los Angeles Kings are expected to be in the playoffs for the first time in five years, with a win over the Chicago Blackhawks at Staples Center.

With a few games remaining, here are some things we’re looking forward to in the weeks ahead: — The Kings will be facing the Chicago Wolves at Staples Centre on Saturday, Feb. 9.

The Kings won the first two games against them, but this is their first game against the Wolves, and they’re likely to be disappointed by their first loss.

The Wolves have won four straight and six of their last seven, and have been in first place in the Central Division.

— The L.C. Kings have a three-game road trip coming up, beginning on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues.

The Blues are 2-1-0 in their last five and are currently in second place in their division.

— There are some changes on the way to the AHL playoffs, with the Vancouver Canucks going from a team with a one-game playoff spot to a team that will play two games in five days.

The Canucks lost 4-2 to the Chicago Stars on Saturday and are now two points behind the third-place Vancouver Canucks.

They will play one more game before the playoffs begin, on Sunday against the New Jersey Devils, which they should win.

— And finally, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS on Wednesday.

The Dodgers are 0-5-1 in their past seven games, and will play three games in two days.

— We’ll be updating this post as we learn more.
